I am pissed as hell that people couldn’t do We Wear Orange Leukemia Awareness Shirt as simple as get vaccinated, so now the delta variant is out of control and everyone is getting punished… and if they fucking shut down my role again and I get, “redeployed” (sure, let’s make it worse by using military terms in a non-military environment because that doesn’t cause trauma at all) again because of these selfish assholes, I’m just quitting. The last 17 months have been hell for many. But those of us in healthcare seem to be the ones everyone feels free to Leukemia Awareness Shirt on and think that calling us heroes that we never wanted to be is enough. As if we don’t have lives, our own families and children to take care of. Calling us healthcare heroes is not fucking enough. Wearing masks, social distancing, staying home (a luxury we didn’t have) and getting the fucking vaccine was ALL people had to do, but no. You can’t call us, “healthcare heroes,” and pretend that you didn’t just shit on all healthcare workers (and other frontline workers like retail, service workers and teachers) and our families when you couldn’t be a decent human being.
We Wear Orange Leukemia Awareness Shirt, Tank Top, Ladies Tee, Sweater And Hoodie
There has been zero accountability for all the We Wear Orange Leukemia Awareness Shirt who have done everything they could to make this worse for everyone who have been shouldering the burden and doing what they are supposed to do! Arkansas legislature passes ‘runaway’ healthcare worker law authorizing the capture and return of any healthcare workers who abandon their positions in COVID related facilities. Governor promises his signature and pledges to cooperate across state lines with other regional states. The bill also authorizes the use of deadly force in apprehending any and all healthcare workers law enforcement deems as fleeing the state’s COVID health emergency. ER nurse here. Im exhausted man. I fought alongside my Leukemia Awareness Shirt fighting to save people for over a year and a half. I don’t regret it for one second because we saved many. Sadly we saw many die, and still seeing it. But after nearly dying from Covid due to blood clots in my lungs, which I’m assuming I got as work (even with insane PPE), I’m scared now. We were so happy thinking the end was in sight, but now it’s crazy again and I’m scared. I know it’s our job but watching so many people act as though it’s not a big deal anymore is discouraging. The morale in hospitals is nonexistent now because we know what’s coming again. Before, we didn’t really know but we did our best hoping it made a difference. Im scared because so many are quitting.
